General FAQ’s
General information relevant to any of our experiences:

How do I pay?

Payment is in cash only, unless otherwise specified. We regret, payment by credit/debit card is not possible at this time. We do however, accept payment in all major currencies (according to Xe's published mid market rates on the day).

Is pick up/drop off included?

No, we meet at the specified meeting point for each tour and we request you arrive no later than 15 minutes in advance of the advertised start time. Should you be running late, please contact us by phone/SMS and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Are there any hidden costs?

Not at all, everything is included as advertised. We pride ourselves in offering top quality products at a reasonable price.

Ebike/Bicycle Tours

I’ve never ridden an electric bike before, is there any training required?

No, providing you can ride a bike, you can ride an ebike.

Is it safe? What if I get lost?

We strive to create the safest environment possible by strictly adhering to mainly dedicated cycle routes with a maximum number of ten in any one group. For groups of three people or more, we ride with a guide at the front and a safety marker at the back.

Is it suitable for children?

For safety reasons, our Ebikes or bicycles are not suitable for children under 1.5m tall.

What should I wear?

No special clothing is required, however because it’s effortless to ride an ebike, we recommend an extra layer on cooler days. Conversely, on really hot days, you’ll get the benefit of a cooling breeze as you ride.
Sensible footwear should be worn, peep toes or high heels are not recommended.

Can I hire a helmet?

We provide a dial adjustable patented helmet to each participant, free of charge, and strongly advise that it be worn at all times of riding. By law, any child under the age of eighteen must wear a helmet.

What if it rains?

We go ahead in all weather, so long as the ground is not frozen. In the event of rain, quality ponchos are provided for your comfort.

Do I need to pre-book?

As Ebike spaces are limited, advance booking is recommended but not always required. Bicycle Tours must be booked in advance.

I’m not too fit, is it a problem?

As no real energy is exerted, Ebikes are suitable for people of all fitness levels. The bicycle tours take place at a steady pace on flat terrain and are suitable for people of a reasonably fit condition. The recommended maximum user weight of either ebikes or bicycles is 120kg.

Can I rent an Ebike/Bicycle?

We regret rentals are not possible at this time.

Is there anywhere to leave my valuables?

Any personal items such as bags can be stored safely at our premises. It is recommended to travel as lightly as possible on the tours.

Private Segway Tours

I've never tried a Segway before, is there any training required?

Yes, you will need to be trained on how to control a Segway machine, training is presented by your guide at the beginning of the tour and takes around 5-10 minutes.

Is it safe? What if I get lost?

In order to create the safest possible environment, we offer Segway tours on a private basis only and the guide is with you at all times.

What should I wear?

No special clothing is required, however because it’s effortless to ride a Segway machine, we recommend an extra layer on cooler days. Conversely, on really hot days, you’ll get the benefit of a cooling ‘breeze’ as you ride.
 Sensible footwear should be worn by Segway users, peep toes or high heels are not recommended.

Food Tour

Is alcohol served?

Yes, alcohol is included but a non alcoholic alternative is always available for those who prefer it.Our tours are all about getting to know Prague, enjoying local tastes and having a nice time – we don’t do pub crawls!

I am a vegetarian, can you accommodate me?

We can offer non meat dishes but please be aware that meat will be served to others on the tour.

I am a vegan, can you accommodate me?

Unfortunately at this time, we do not incorporate vegan options into the tour.

I suffer from a food allergy, is it a problem?

Whilst we try our best to accommodate everybody, we are unable to guarantee the lack of nuts/gluten/lactose etc. across the various tastes. Please contact us directly with any special dietary restrictions and we will certainly do our best to accommodate you.

Are children welcome?

That's a really good question. As parents ourselves, we're fully aware of how 'bored children' can become fidgety and, consequently, disruptive to others in the group. That said, some children have absolutely loved their time with us. Depending on the age(s) of the individual child(ren), they may or may not enjoy the experience with us. Contact us with details, we may be able to offer a private solution more specific to the children's age(s).

Is there much walking involved?

We walk at a steady pace between locations and the tour should be suitable for most fitness levels. Please note that wheelchair access in the historic centre isn't always easy, please contact us should you require wheelchair access and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Where does the tour end? Will I get lost?

Absolutely not, we conclude the tour adjacent to where we start so that you'll be familiar with the location. Naturally, your guide is ready to help with specific directions back to your accommodation.

Will I be too full?

Don't worry, we absolutely do eat progressively and you certainly won't be welcomed with a stodgy hor d'oeuvre or dished up a hearty dessert as a starter. We strive to offer a degustation, with the total quantity being enough to satisfy the healthiest of appetites.

What if the weather is inclement?

Our food tours take place in all weather, bring an umbrella/mac if it's raining. Comfortable foot wear is recommended.

Where will you take me?

You should expect to experience a variety of exclusive, high-end establishments. At times, there will be a Czech link and on other occasions there won't. We strive to offer the very best in quality and provide tastes which reflect some of the latest culinary trends this wonderful city has to offer.

What sights will we see?

We devote all our time and energy to Prague's ever changing culinary scene in order to find the best places to eat, drink and have fun. The food tour is not a sightseeing tour per se, but, naturally, you can expect to see many beautiful landmarks, learn some fun cultural facts and be entirely entertained, along the way.
